I was working at Ford Design at the time so made use of some down time at work to do them, can't recall what paint system we were using though. Automotive paints though obviously, not the rattle can variety! Shaved the ptu mounts, & those ribs that run across the other side, plastic welded all the holes up then a bit of filler. Rough sand, high fill primer, sand, repeat. As they were going to be gloss black think I worked through to about 800 grit paper with a few coats of primer. Pretty sure I used some ultra fine sanding pads too. Then couple coats of black & couple coats of clear. Cable cover has been buffed as it got nicked the next day but timing covers are straight off the gun. cheers, Tim
